Dallas Truck Driving School

  The Stevens Driving Academy’s Dallas location is our flagship institution. The Academy’s state-of-the-art facility is located on our sprawling 62-acre worldwide headquarters. Stevens Driving Academy has a spectacular reputation of launching the careers of thousands of professional drivers for over 25 years. Once on the road, the graduates of our company sponsored program earn up to $40,000 in their first year and $60,000 in their third year.

Our industry leading training program will place your professional driving career on the fast track. In addition to helping students receive their CDL, our certified professional trainers teach new drivers the industry best practices to help them become the best and safest drivers on the road. With a 4-to-1 training ratio, our students receive the time and attention needed to help them succeed in our intense 17 day training course. By attending the Dallas location, you will learn to drive on the same superior equipment that comprises our modern, technologically advance fleet.

When you attend our Academy located in the heart of Stevens’ worldwide headquarters, you will experience the Stevens culture as you meet current successful Stevens Drivers.

Stevens Driving Academy starts a new training class every Monday. Classes are held Monday – Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm and Saturday 7:00AM to 12:00pm. Stevens sponsors the cost of training as well as provides lodging, meal money assistance, transportation to Dallas, and a daily shuttle to and from school.

Our number one goal is to help you earn your CDL, so that upon completion, you will become a Stevens Transport employee and will start your paid over the road training.

Over the Road Training

In our highly reputable Over the Road Training Program, you are paired with a Driver Mentor and Trainer to receive 1-on-1 training. You will receive the most comprehensive training in the industry as you complete 240 hours behind the wheel, approximately five to six weeks. Your individualized training encompasses driving and navigating all 5 regions of the U.S. as you learn to haul time-sensitive, temperature-controlled commodities. You will earn a weekly salary for each week it takes you to complete the most successful training program in North America.

Upon completion of your Over the Road Training, you will be assigned your own equipment and will start being paid on a per mile basis, averaging $750 to $850 per week. Our drivers earn 3 automatic pay raises within their first year of professional driving. First year drivers have an average yearly income of $40,000 with third year drivers earning approximately $60,000. After completely the Over the Road Training Program, you can take your career in a variety of different directions including: Dedicated Driver, Regional Driver, Tanker Driver, Alliance Leasing, or Owner/Operator.

Houston Truck Driving School

Stevens Transport and Lone Star College have successfully partnered to train countless truck drivers in Houston, Texas for several years.  Stevens Transport offers a three-week training program designed to teach student drivers all of the information and skills necessary to lead a successful career as a professional truck driver.  Stevens Transport will sponsor the cost of your CDL education with no credit check.   • $71 for Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • $11 for a permit
  • Money for lunch
Boarding
  • No boarding is offered for Houston Truck Driving School
What You Will Need
  • Driver’s License, Social Security Card, and Birth Certificate (original documents only)
  • U.S. Passport (optional, but recommended)
  • CDL Class A Handbook (read chapter 14)
  • School supplies: pens, paper, notebook, and calculator
  • Dress appropriately and professionally for all weather conditions and climates
  • DOT physical prior to school at Concentra Medical Center
Program Stevens Transport is committed to sponsoring the cost of CDL training with a signed agreement to drive for the company for at least one calendar year.  If you uphold the terms of the agreement, Stevens Transport will cover the total cost of your school tuition.  However, if you leave Stevens Transport prior to the expiration of your one year agreement, you will owe the company the remaining cost of your tuition.

Denver Truck Driving School

Stevens Transport and Careers Worldwide have successfully partnered to train countless truck drivers in Denver, Colorado for more than a decade.  Stevens Transport offers a comprehensive three-week training program designed to teach student drivers all of the information and skills necessary to lead a successful career as a professional truck driver.  Stevens Transport will sponsor the cost of your CDL education with no credit check. School Structure Out-of-Pocket Expenses
  • $70 for Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • $100 for DOT physical and drug screening
  • $75 for housing
  • Money for your meals during the three weeks of school ($150)
Boarding
  • No boarding is offered for Denver Truck Driving School

  • 4 References – 2 Family and 2 Personal with name, address and phone numbers
    • Include full name, mailing address and phone numbers and any other contact information

  • Bedding for a twin bed: sheets, blanket/sleeping bag, and pillow
  • 1 week of clothing and laundry bag
  • Toiletry items, towel, and washcloth
